String Time Duo - Angelina Galashenkova-Reed on Domra and Marina Alexandra on Guitar - will perform a delightful blend of works by celebrated American, Spanish, and Latin American composers. The audience will be taken on a unique musical journey, showcasing both newly composed pieces and reimagined masterpieces. This international female duo promises a musical experience featuring both folk and modern music to reflect the concert’s theme of Eastern European Music and Beyond.
Olga Vlasova - Olga Vlasova on Bandura - studied at the Kiev National University of Culture and Art, majoring in bandura and pedagogical science in postgraduate studies. She now lives in Virginia and continues to perform Ukrainian music at festivals, concerts, and conferences, as well as making presentations on the topics of East Slavic culture and traditions.
